These photos demonstrate a network equipment rack in its previous state and the product of the work performed on it. Many of the cables were tangled and hanging. This puts added stress on the connectors, which could potentially damage the equipment over time or in the event of a snag. These risks were eliminated with the introduction of proper cable management.
